Ah, finally, another drawing completed!

It's not that this drawing was hard, but the dark clothing took a very long time to shade. Well, it's not supposed to be that dark at all, it's actually a green color. Anyways, Theoden's costume was sorta fun to draw. One of my favorite LOTR costumes besides Boromir's and Aragorn's coronation garb.

I think I might color this in Photoshop. Yes, I think I will.

Freehand. I only use a grid during paintings, because my art teacher makes me. :p

Grids can be annoying at times-the last time I used one was when I did a pointilism portrait. I am so glad I did, though. It was a huge picture. >_<

How would a grid be useful during painting? You get two layers of paint on the canvas and then you can't see lines anymore...
